Jayne Ford is an award-winning designer-maker working predominantly with glass. She came to Manchester to study in the 1990’s and stayed on in the city to establish a stained glass studio. Now based in Mossley, she continues to make decorative architectural glass along with artwork for interiors and outdoor spaces.
Recent notable commissions include the HMS Conway Memorial window at Bangor Pier, a chapel window at Trent College, Nottingham and the inaugural City of London Lord Mayor Reflects Roundel. Jayne regularly displays 3D glass artwork at outdoor events, for example giant glass lilies at RHS Tatton Flower Show (“Vitriflora”) and mirror-mosaic work for Manchester’s Bee in the City Art Trail (“Bling Bee”).
