Ashi’s work is inspired by the architecture of Indian monuments and palaces. The geometry used in the formation of structural arches of these monuments, the intricate details of the ceilings, and the decorative panels and screens, all form a rich heritage for her work.
Her designs have the essence of the geometry, repetition and pattern, evolving in pieces that unique and have a distinct style. Her jewellery is tactile, three dimensional and has a touch of the luxurious.
Graduating as a silversmith, she uses both these skills and basic metal forming and forging techniques in making her work.
